Yesterday I heard a commotion in the trees so I looked up and there they were - it was really noisy - a nice noise. Sure enough it was my favorite all birds - Cedar Waxwings. They were eating the buds off the tree. I didn't have my bigger lens on so I settled for this shot. This shot gives you a better look at them all. As if I don't have any pictures of Cedar waxwings. I look forward to seeing and hearing them again.

The birds are evidently mating out here as they are nest building etc. and swarming our house. The other day I had three different types hanging off the side of the house. Weird. The mocking birds out here are my favorite.
