25th Anniversary

Well Dave & I have been married for 25 years this past Wednesday! WooHoo - time certainly goes by quickly. Tonight we plan on doing something a little special to celebrate. A Little Visitor

McKenzie and Grammie came for a little visit this afternoon. What a wonderful surprise again. McKenzie and her mom were here yesterday too - it was a fun time. McKenzie is so smart and so so cute. All the little people that visit love to feed my cat - The cupboard where the cat treats are kept is really easy for little ones to operate and I think that is part of the fun - they can do it all by themselves. Notice the hairpiece in Mckenzie's hair. McKenzie noticed a blue foiled peanut butter cup sitting on my sofa table so of course she was allowed to take it with her. I told her to put it in her pocket and show mommy when you get home. I wonder if the peanut butter cup is still in her pocket all melted or did she eat it secretly? Sorry Mommy :)

Easter

This is what our Easter Basket looked like this year! It was just the three of us - in Orrington. We all had a wonderful time with the rest of our family in Brewer for Easter Dinner. Most of the family was able to come - it's always so great to see everyone. I am a little disappointed with myself because I didn't take alot of pictures - I guess I was just busy visiting and Eating!!!! Oh Well. Hope you all have a Wonderful Easter Holiday. Happy Spring :)

First Day of Spring!

Today is a rainy gray day on the First Day of Spring. At least it isn't snowing again. I think everyone I've spoken to is definately ready for warmer sunnier weather - I know I am. Today I also thought of you Don in California - not because of the weather either (he'll know what I mean) but because it is a very special day for you and Patty. Happy Anniversary :) 27th right? Hope you will have an opportunity to spend it in a special way. Hope everyone has a good day and Happy Spring.

The Catch

I must share this with you all. Dylan went fishing on Friday and came home very excited with his catch! These are Brook Trout (16 1/2" and 13 1/2") caught through the ice - which Dylan says, "Mom, I just don't think you understand how great of a catch this is!" This guy likes to Fish!!! as a matter of fact he's out there again today and will go again tommorrow.

Well I've been tagged by Twila! Sorry I haven't responded sooner but I've been down literally on my back - pulled muscles or something - it will heal in time! Our dog Casey was the best - Good old polite dog who loved being loved - and going to camp - we surely miss her. I do have a new dog that Daniel and Twila gave me@ Christmastime from Byers Choice Carolers that I will always have in rememberence of CaseyCob. A Good Summer Day in 2007

Today I spent quite some time looking at photographs and realized I may not have shared this with my sister-in-law from California. I remember it was just a picture perfect day to remember. Look forward to another one just like it again. Some of my readers will definately recognize this place. It's like tradition isn't it?

Storm Fishing

Storm or no storm Dylan was determined he would be going fishing! He went up to Lyman with Tony and Dominic. Hopefully he will be catching some fish. I've always heard from my guys here that when it's storming the fish are biting so we will see.
