Just Around the Yard

Friday was a beautiful day - so I took advantage of this warm fall day to just walk around the yard and my surroundings. This is what I saw.

Let the Season Begin

Dylan went out with his buddy Chris and his uncle who is a Maine Guide this afternoon for his first "real" bear hunt.

I also wanted to show you the Osprey I captured in the tree at Toddy Pond. It actually sat there watching the water right beside the dock and then all of a sudden it dove into the water catching itself a sunfish! It was quite a sight to see this. Katie has a really good "action picture" as Katie would call it - hahaha

Canning-Canning-Canning

I love a garden. Lots of work in the summer and early fall but well worth it in the middle of the winter when you go to the cupboard and pull out a jar of your special stuff. So far I've made several salsas - zucchini relishes - million dollar relishes (my favorite)- bread and butter pickles - green beans! more to come :)

Labor Day

We had a wonderful Labor Day at Toddy Pond. It was nice that everyone could come. We had a total of 37 people. I am posting just some of the pictures that I captured this past weekend. It was great to finally meet Katie's sister Kellie and husband Jay and their children. It was also especially nice that Daniel and Twila's friends could join us as well. There are so many highlights of this past weekend to mention so maybe the pictures will do the talking!
