Gram's Birthday

This is an Angel Lush Cake - Angel Food cake - pineapples and cream and strawberries !!!! Yummy - We all had 2 pieces each - Woops! This is a sign Trevor once made - not sure of the year - will check with him on that - We sanded it down to a smooth finish and then repainted each letter with White and added a coat of poly - Looks really good. Gram always said,"I wish I could see that signs name from the lake" - well now I'm sure we will be able to and boaters passing by!!! So now the sign will hang once again for some more years to come -

This is an update to the pony on this page. Her name has been corrected as Elkey. She is 38 years old. This information came from the owners words! So now we will have to get use to calling her Elkey. We've always know her to be Elsey! I myself prefer the name Elsey.

This is our neigborhood Pony - Her name is Elsey. We've been told that she is 30 years old anyway and that was some time ago. Hard to say how old she really is. Once in awhile you will see some of the neighbors stopping in to visit with her and to feed her a little something special they have brought for her. She normally stays in her yard but when she does wonder off it's pretty close by. Everyone here in Orrington probably knows Elsey.

This I thought would make an interesting picture. I was trying to capture the color in its wings and get as close as I could without it flying off !

Just an ordinary day with the Betts Family

One evening spent at the kitchen table working on homework. Twila was his tutor. She is very good working with others - very patient and supportive. She usually doesn't give the "answer" until the answer has been found by Dylan himself. Twila is the teacher in the house. Twila Rules !!!!!
