Porch Paintings

This is Michelle. She is our nephew Patrick's girlfriend. One day at Camp she thought the existing red spots on the porch floor that were blotched on by Gram for an interesting look to the porch could be turned into flowers. So needless to say - one day Michelle came back with 3 bottles of paint in hand. These red spots were transformed into roses and daisies. No one mentioned to Gram that this was going on - we wanted to wait and see her reaction. Each day when we could we would add more to see if they have been noticed. I also brought a bag of paint down that had been sitting in my craft drawer unused - so I thought maybe I should paint a few as well. One of mine didn't turn out too well - so Twila transformed it into a butterfly! and added a few flowers of her own. So now the porch at Toddy Pond is quite interesting!!! Daniel and Gramps having a mean game of Cribbage!

Carly's Catch

I heard a very loud squawking in the driveway wondering what was happening - well Carly caught her first Bluejay. Geez - of course I let the Bluejay free by taking Carly inside - The Bluejay hobbled off - I don't know whether or not it survived :(
Carly just wanted to play with it.

Waist up only - How's this????
Live - Laugh - Love
Hope it made you Laugh :)
You didn't mention anything about tongues and smooching :)

Weekend Away

Off to Upper Middle Branch we went - all 10 of us! This pond is a very quiet pond - no big boats hauling tubers and skiers - just your occasionally fisherman going by with a 3.3 motor - actually it was quite nice for a change. Very remote.
The loons were plentiful - and always coming by to say hello- their calls would echo on this pond! We had some amazing clouds We had a wonderful time. Weather was excellent - sun and clouds and a few showers at evening. Dylan is not in the group picture because he headed back in town before I realized we should have a group picture! Dan and Twila couldn't make it this trip due to previous engagements but there will be another time for all of us - and I'm looking forward to that.

Pictured: Tony and Cheryl's children are wearing the head gear - (Dominic & Jesse) Sitting beside me is Dominic's girlfriend Stacy - Andy & Vicki are sitting beside Dave and of course Cheryl & Tony on the other side of Dave.

Another Visit from the Betts-Levines

Twila won first prize - She was the one to notice that Dave's big toenails were painted. Dave always walks around in bare feet but who really looks at them - Twila does. Dylan with his water action!!! Notice Babe. Cassie did such a good job on the dock stairs with an injured knee. Those steps are sometimes tricky for the rest of us! Course Babe did some swimming with Dan. Games were played - and the guys checking out the Harleys. This is one of my favorites of Montana Betts-Levine.

Visiting with the Betts-Levine Family

What a wonderful time we had with the Betts-Levine Family. The little one Reese as certainly developed her own personality and Rex of course has his special little personality. I wish they could of stayed longer - but they will be back again. Katie thanks for teaching me the new "sayings"! Rex certainly enjoyed fishing and boating. I noticed he definately hangs with the guys -
