Toddy Clean-up

This weekend we headed to Toddy Pond for our annual spring clean-up. It was a beautiful day on the pond. There was a few boats that went cruising by and the sound of the loon was heard. What a good job we all did. Dan/Twila/ sister Alana - Tony/Cheryl/ daughter Jessie and of course Dave and myself raked and raked and dragged and hauled off the leaves, sticks and limps. We would take our occasional breaks by shouting "break" and no one would hesitate then we would head right back at it. We pretty much had a tail-gate snack bar. We later fired up the grill and threw on the first steak/ribs and had dinner inside. We loaded up our rakes and wheelbarrows and gear and headed for home. We were going to stop at the ice cream store but we figured it would probably have a line down the sidewalk of people waiting being a Saturday warm evening. We were wrong. There wasn't a person there. We figured they must have all been at the circus which was in town that weekend. So we enjoyed our ice creams while listening to the Red Sox game with the Dinardo's. It was a really productive day thanks to all our helpers. You made the clean-up much more enjoyable. Dave and I thank you. I almost forgot to mention that we almost had the raking part all done before Gram and Gramps pulled in. So when they got out of their car - we all yelled "surprise". I know that they were just delighted to have the crew at camp and taking care of what needed some attention. The Crew
