What's been Happening

Well seems like a long time since I've been on my site. So I woke to another raining morning and thought I should take some time and update. First - on Dave's birthday we catered a wedding. It was my good friend Cheryl's cousin. Dave and Tony worked in the kitchen (dish clean-up) - which was a huge huge help and the girls and I worked the food and floor. It was a lot of work but was a huge success. :) We were a good team. After this wedding we were invited back to the brides mothers house for cocktails on the deck and more food - another way for her to say thank you. It was beautiful warm day and one to remember. After this event - Tony-Cheryl-Dave-I headed to Toddy Pond to relax and enjoy each others company and to celebrate Dave's birthday. I think we stayed up until 2 am sitting by the camp fire talking about the day and of course laughing like always.
Cheryl - Angie - Me - Jessie The following weekend Dan and Twila invited us to ride with them to their wedding location to double check a few details. On the way back home we witnessed a fire. This was a practice fire for the local fire departments. I had never seen one before so we stopped and watched for a bit. It was pretty intense and this was just a small building. It was good to watch that these practice drills do take place.

Birthday Kiddos

Here's a few photos of the birthday kiddos. Kelsie is One now sitting on her moms lap with her big sister who just loves parties.
There was lots of family members who attended to celebrate.
Here is Uncle Patrick with the birthday boy Sylus who's 4 now and his little brother Cullin who is a little uncertain whether or not to sit with them. He was much happier in his moms arms. Great Grampie and Grammie with the birthday girl.

A Day of Fencing

This past weekend Dave and Daniel/Twila and myself showed up at my moms with brand spanking new fence. Wasn't she surprised! Daniel and Dave had repaired the much needed corner fence that was flapping in the wind and that had been tied up in the past many of times the previous weekend. They decided that just two new pieces on an old fence just couldn't be and just didn't look right so they decided the rest has to be done too. It was a beautiful day and the forecast was for a possible late day thunderstorm. The new fence went up very smoothly and rather quickly. Just as the guys finished loading Daniel's trailer and strapping the load down it began to ran. It was very good timing and the new fence looks wonderful!
