Last week Dave and I went to pick some apples - it was a beautiful day - sunny and warm. It was half price day to our surprise - so needless to say we came home with plenty of apples - I've made a few pies already and apple crisp of course and also plan on making some applesauce to enjoy this winter. We did have some visitors while we were at the orchard -
Of course I also took advantage of the scenery at the orchard and i thought it was
really "country" beautiful.

Wow, Great pics. Are those apples on the ground in the last picture? Funny how they are all in rows. I really miss the fall in NE but this is the best time of year in CA.
